The Stillbirth and neonatal death charity (Sands) and the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) are pleased that there are now ten partner charities working collaboratively to support this on-line network for bereavement care professionals involved or interested in the care offered to parents when a baby dies.
The ten partner charities are the Stillbirth and neonatal death charity (Sands) and the Royal College of Midwives (RCM), Antenatal Results & Choices (ARC), Bliss, Child Bereavement UK (CBUK), the Lullaby Trust, Miscarriage Association (MA), The Multiple Births Foundation (MBF), National Maternity Support Foundation (NMSF) and the Twins & Multiple Births Association (Tamba).
The ten partner charities behind the Bereavement Care Network support the aims of this Network to:
- promote improvement in all aspects of bereavement care by supporting professionals in doing a difficult job to the best of their abilities
- provide a confidential, safe space for professionals to network, offload, seek information, advice and peer support
- facilitate the sharing of best practice points and updates on policy, research and documentation related to pregnancy loss and the death of a baby
